Excursion Days
We provide an excursion day every month where we take students off-site. Activities include:
Visiting colleges/universities: This will give youths in the community an opportunity to see and learn about the surroundings of a college/university and allow them to start thinking about their future, what has to be done to achieve that level of education and how this can be done if they choose to embark on this path.
Volunteer at food shelters: We hope that by have these excursions, youth can continue to build on their personal leadership skills and learn about the world outside of their usual circle.
Downtown Toronto exploring: This will give youths a chance to get out and explore outside of their usual circle.
Fundraising Event
We work with the students to organize fundraising events for the school and summer programs.
